It's About Time

I suppose it's time to get my act together and do our holiday recap. This is everything I have. I have gotten so bad about taken pictures and realized I've taken about 8 total pictures since this.

We were so lucky and were able to go to Utah for Christmas for almost 2 weeks and spend all our time with our families there. We miss living so close to our parents and were happy to be around them for the time we could be-especially for miss Georgia's sake. She loves her grandparents and gets so excited every time we video-chat with them.

Since I have no brain right now, the pictures are all I have to remember what we did. I know we did tons of fun things with both families but I can't remember it all for the life of me, so enjoy the pictures.

We went to the arcades on Christmas Eve Day and had so much fun doing everything there was there. We got the most tickets playing Wheel of Fortune as a group and we left with some pretty good treasures with our ticket collection.

Georgia on Christmas Day. We went to sacrament meeting with Rob and Amy's family at 9 (or maybe it was 11), came home and had a great breakfast, and then had a relaxing afternoon. We went to Rob and Amy's that night for a great dinner.

We took a "magic" picture by the beautiful tree.
And another one for our lunch we had.
Georgia opening her puppet pig from Grandma

She sleeps with this thing every night and likes to play "peek-a-boo" with it while she's in her crib. It's cute because you hear her through the walls just saying quietly, "boo...boo...boo". Love this sweet girl.
Sitting with Grandma

She now loves puzzles. She can put all the pieces where they go in all 5 puzzles she has, and loves doing them in nursery every week.
For some reason, Georgia was a grump towards Andie and didn't care for her one bit. Andie was so friendly and just wanted to play with Georgia. Come to find out, it's not just Andie she doesn't care for. Georgia doesn't like any kids under the age of 4 or so. She's such a stinker...especially in nursery now. (She HATES going and will push her way backwards on the door jam when I try to bring her through the doors into the nursery room) Anyways, hopefully when we see Andie next, they will have a blast together.
This is the one picture I took while at my mom's house. They got Georgia a cute little baby doll for Christmas that she likes to drag with her around the house. She likes to make her eat food and do the same things she does. We went to the Bean museum and once again- did fun things that I can't think of right now.

We celebrated Nick's birthday at the end of January by eating carne asada and going to the science center. I made a chocolate bundt cake for his cake. I think he was happy with it.
My dad came at the end of January for his birthday. We all pitched in and got him a ticket and so he and Jen came for a long weekend. We wish it was longer though. One fun thing we did was go to the zoo. The kids loved going. We were able to have lots of good family time with almost everyone (except Andrea).
This was by far the best present we've ever gotten for Georgia. We found it at a second hand store for less than 20. She rides this thing daily. Most of the time with a friend (or 3). She rides it so fast she flips it forwards and backwards.

We have been doing great, and have just been making preparations for baby boy coming in just a couple weeks. I don't think Georgia will handle it well, but we'll all adjust. She's been monstrously clingy to me but I secretly like it. Especially when she's tired and just lays on me. I guess I miss that a TON. She'll be a great sister (with some practice). Nick is doing so good in school and it keeps him busy, along with his church calling as the ward clerk, and his new job he started doing research for Mesa Verde National Park. I'm looking forward to the summer when he's just doing his internship and that's the main thing he has to focus on. I'm so blessed to have a family like I do-a great husband and daughter, and from what I can tell, a little angel baby. I'll try to keep up more often on here.
