Two Months

Miles turned two months old just over a week ago. He went in for his checkup on his two month date and boy is he a giant!!! His jaundice is completely gone-nothing to worry about anymore; he only has eczema so he get's lotion-ed up about twice a day. So the verdict: Weight-15lb. 6oz. (98%) Height- 25 in (99%) and his head is something huge and falls in the 94 percentile. At least he's big all around. The dr. says he's not fat at all, he just looks like he's about 5 months old. Awesome. I love him so much though. He is SUCH a good baby and I adore him as do Georgia and Nick. He has been smiling for a few weeks now and tries to laugh when tickled. He sleeps between 8 and 9 hours at night and then wakes up once to eat. If only I could get on the same schedule as him and go to bed at 8 or 9 then I would be set as well. He does well taking a bottle from Nick when I'm working at night. He's growing way too fast as is Georgia. The hardest thing to me about going from one to two kids, is that I don't feel like I get adequate time with either. I want to hold and play with both all day. There is definitely not enough time in the day.

And just so there is a comparison: Georgia at two months- 12lbs. 3 oz. and 20 1/2 in. long. So yes, since they are so close in age, he'll probably catch up to her by the time he's one and they'll look like twins in size or something.

He wakes up happy every morning. Well, after he's fed, that is. I'm one lucky girl.

Georgia's Favorite Things

1. Her stuffed animals.

Here she is trying to sit on the front of the horse with all her animals.
Here, she dumped them all out and made me stack them on top of her.
 Where's Georgia??

 2. She enjoys throwing anything and everything down the stairs.

 3. She loves the water-swimming and otherwise

4. She loves her brother! Especially helping with changing him by laying next to him anytime she can.

5. She loves these goggles.

Easter

Georgia has a strange obsession with eggs. I don't know how it began, but she loves eggs! She has books that have eggs and laughs and giggles every time she sees one. You can imagine how thrilled she was to dye eggs for Easter. She doesn't look excited or anything...

We all got dressed in our Easter clothes on Sunday and had our first real family picture...it didn't turn out like I'd hoped. Maybe part of it is because I obviously have not returned to my pre-pregnancy weight as quickly as I'd have liked to, or maybe because Georgia was awesome that morning...

I made Georgia's dress before she was born and I didn't know when it would fit her, but this Easter turned out to be a perfect chance to have her wear it. I loved it on her, she looks so pretty in blue!

This handsome guy wore this outfit ONE time. That's all it fit for. I'm glad I didn't wash it after we bought it or it wouldn't have even fit once. Did I mention that a nurse did an in home visit with him today and he was 13 pounds 6 ounces?!?! Yes, he's 5 weeks old and now looks like a 3 month old.

Again, this girl's eyes light up when an egg shows up.

What a wonderful day this is to celebrate our Savior! Happy late Easter.

Visitors

Carolyn came first to help out with Miles and Georgia. She was such a huge help and played with Georgia a ton! I was able to nap and relax with Miles during his first week home. Nick was busy, busy, busy with school so it was such a blessing to have her here. We miss her and can't wait for another visit with her.
We went to the botanical gardens which were beautiful and went into a butterfly garden which was fun for all of us!

My mom and Charlie came to visit the same day Carolyn left, so it was a nice transition to not have to do things completely alone just yet. They also played with Georgia a ton and it was so nice to have the extra help! We miss them a ton, too!

Sadly, I didn't take any pictures except for this one of my mom and Miles.

We did go to a bouncy gym for my niece Madison's birthday. Georgia had lots of fun, mainly playing with the car that she was upset Hunter wanted to play with as well.

My dad was our last visitor and came the day my Mom and Charlie left. Georgia loved him (even though it may not look like it from the pictures) and had lots of fun playing with him and playing with his iPad. We wish Jenn could have come to visit as well and can't wait to see them both soon!

Georgia and Miles are so lucky to have so many grandparents that love them and are willing to help out anytime! We miss all of our family and cannot wait to see everyone when we can. We love you all!!!
